It seems many can't tell the noticeable differences between this model and the acclaimed DF64 model - but this model is a heavy discount from the latter. This device is a joy to use and super intuitive overall. The build quality is astounding (minus the somewhat flimsy wood lid - a non-issue really) and the results speak for themselves. 10/10 would buy again
Ordered this Turin DF54 Espresso Grinder on March 2024 received it on April 18th. Just wanted share the box opening and setup of this excellent grinder with everyone in the market for a true flat burr espresso grinder.

Preorder arrived around when it was advertised. Paired this with a Profitec Go. So far, it's working perfectly - basically zero retention and no static. Coffee tastes great!
First and foremost I love my new DF54 grinder! It's very quiet (compared to my other grinders), it grinds very consistently, and best of all it doesn't clump the grounds.
On the downside, the plasma generator doesn't work as good as I had hoped. Every other day the grounds as their coming out of chute statically stick to the chute, the machine, and anything else they get near even if I've lightly spritzed the beans with water they still scatter and stick to everything. It does help to run a soft small brush up inside the chute but you have to do that every time you grind beans or it's static city all over again.
SO....I love the grinder and hate the mess.
