Great Piece of Equipment

What an awesome unit. Well built and beautiful. Only area of improvement would be better directions on how to set grinds. Love the purchase!

Open box Turin DM47

I agonized over this for many months. Been using a hand grinder for the last 29 years and have been happy with results. Finally bought an open box DM47 and the results are wonderful. Much better coffee with this grinder. I love it.

Great Grinder

I'm impressed with this grinder. Although I'm still trying to dial in my dose for my espresso machine. I am very impressed with the DM47.

best entry level budget grinder

I bought this as an open box item from the website. If it was used I couldn't tell. So far, it works fantastic, takes up very little space, and feels very solid (heavy metal) etc. The zero point isn't calibrated, but turning it counter clockwise all the way while it's on will find true zero. From there I colored that in with a marker, and started to dial in the beans. For me, I turned it one full rotation clockwise until I hit my zero. The more clockwise you go the larger the grind, the more counter clockwise you go, the finer the grind. I hope this one lasts, and cleaning seems relatively easy. but this one is new on the market so there isn't much out there about it (even on reddit).

For $399 I would look at different options, but under 199 and it's a steal.
