I bought it for my husband for his birthday after researching on line. I was unsure what to expect. It works so beautifully. It’s simple to use, with an intuitive dial. Our old grinder was messy. With this one, the ground coffee exits the cup with no mess. The coffee tastes great. I’m just really happy with it.

After six years with my Baratza Sette 30, I upgraded, and it’s like going from a Honda Civic to a Porsche. The Sette was reliable but noisy and not the most comfortable, and the Turin is fast, well crafted, and sleek. This grinder is worth the price!
It’s been a bit of a learning curve, but so far it has yielded good quality espresso. Any lacking is due to user error haha! The brightness is noticeable and pleasant even though every once in a while I miss the old conical burr grinder thicker espresso too. Overall great buy for lots of flexibility and good price point. The button on the lower right side can be a little cumbersome but otherwise all good.
I was ordering to EU and was told that the grinder will be delivered with customs fees paid. It wasn't the case because it was shipped from a different warehouse than planned. I had to pay the fees myself but in the end got a refund for the full extra amount with zero arguing or questions at all. What could have been a big disappointment turned out a great customer experience. Thank you, Steve!
