Updates on V3 Preorder version
The current release is V3. This update introduces a built-in, non-removable chute knocker and a narrower pre-breaker auger. The outer burr carrier has also been redesigned—now supported by four metal rods—to improve stability and deliver more consistent grinding performance.
SSP burrs do not come pre-installed and will ship within the same box as the grinder or at times separately. Customer to install and align SSP Burrs.

So far this grinder has been amazing. Easy to work with and dial in shots. Looks great and I’m thrilled to add it to my bar.
Just need to make sure you 0 it out first and it’s very accurate. Can see a difference in shot extraction doing 1 grind size difference

Turin DF83V Variable Speed Coffee / Espresso Grinder
Still trying to dial in the grinder, so far I went through over 5 kilos of medium roast beans with the included Burrs for espresso. I find that when I dial in the grinder to pull a 18 grams 36 yield espresso in between 30 to 35 seconds, the time of the day makes a big difference, if I dial it in the morning, it will be off at night and vice versa; so temperature and humidity seems to change how the grinder performs. Retention is a bit annoying and the plasma thing hasn’t worked once by the static I get.
Anyway, I didn’t want to send this review, but Turin keeps asking. I feel like reviews should be requested at the 3 to 6 months. So I will hold my judgement until then.
