I am finding this espresso grinder to be excellent. Its build quality is superb and it is aesthetically pleasing. Changing the grind size requires a little bit more force than anticipated, but I understand that it might not be good if it was too easy to be changed, say on accident while the grinder is off. The popcorn shield is very effective, and the grinding noise is very tolerable for quiet mornings. The bellows work pretty well too, I haven’t had any issues with retention or with blowing the espresso grounds out of the dosing cup. I will have to see how maintenance fares when it comes to the ease of taking it apart and cleaning, so I’m not able to comment on that at the moment. My only complaint with the grinder is that it would have been much nicer to have it come with a dosing cup that more closely matched the build quality of the grinder itself. For comparison, I picked up a separate dosing cup from Normcore which is stainless steel and matte black on the outside, and it has been a nice quality of life upgrade.
