Since arriving two weeks ago, my appreciation of this grinder has grown more every day, as I fully learn how to benefit from all it offers. It’s the perfect size for my compact home coffee bar. Right out of the box, the burrs and indicator were perfectly calibrated to zero. It’s surprisingly quiet, and there’s been virtually no retention. Grinds look great coming out, and my shots have been much more consistent (and photogenic!). Rotating the adjustment ring is a little tough and requires a lot of effort, we’ll see if that gets a little smoother as time goes on. But overall, its a amazing value and step up for my home espresso game.

I love that dosing is a breeze. I have been using the bellows at the end of each grind, so no clogs. Love it so far!
After using a hand grinder for espresso, I was looking for something more consistent and less of a task - researched a bunch and this one stood out among the rest. Quiet operation, very uniform grind even for pour over. I couldn't be happier with the ease of use and how easy it is to dial in for espresso. Turin DF 54v2 been easy to use and and adjust. I use RDT and have very little retention. The included brush makes it easy to clean the chute if needed.
