I have the v2 version of this grinder, and its a very capable grinder for both, Espresso and Pour over. Mine came with the stainless steel Italmill burrs, although the new ones come with DLC burrs which are supposedly even better.
What I dislike about this grinder is more the design and workflow issues. First, the stock chute and declumpers are some of the worst design you will see. It clogs up, produces uneven grounds due to regrinding, and is all around very poor. Replacing it with a stainless steel Mythos style declumper is a good upgrade. Second, the declumpers do need a spacer, otherwise the screws of the chute will hit the burrs while spinning. This is not told to you when you purchase the mythos style declumper, but its indeed needed. Third, mine did not come well aligned out of box and I had to spend time doing the marker test, shimming and aligning the burrs. Finally, the forks that came with the grinder to hold the portafilter and dosing cup rattle a lot - replacing it with a 3D printed holder and dosing cup is a worthy improvement.
However despite all these annoying flaws, for the price this is a good grinder if you are willing to do some mods as I suggested above.
