Preorder questions & order changes

Does a new estimate apply to my existing order?

A product-page update may concern a different color, configuration or batch. Check your order confirmation and updates for your order. If they conflict with the page, or your estimate has passed, submit a support ticket with your order number.

Does the estimate mean arrival at my door?

Check which milestone the product description names. Warehouse arrival, readiness for carrier pickup and delivery are different stages. Production, inbound freight, customs and processing can affect timing. Carrier transit follows pickup.

Can faster shipping shorten the preorder wait?

A shipping speed or transit estimate does not shorten the wait for preorder inventory. If you need equipment by a firm date, ask about an in-stock alternative before ordering.

Does a tracking number mean my order has shipped?

Label creation alone does not confirm carrier pickup. Check for carrier acceptance or movement. Items may ship separately, so tracking for one item does not mean every item in your order has shipped.

How do I cancel, change my address or switch options?

Submit a support ticket promptly with your order number and the change you need. Wait for confirmation before assuming the change is complete. Cancellation and refund terms, including applicable fees and delayed-order exceptions, apply. Once an item has shipped, the return process applies.

The Turin DF64 Gen 2.7 is built for coffee drinkers who weigh their beans for each brew and want room to experiment. Its 64mm flat burrs cover espresso and filter grinding, while a stepless collar lets you make small corrections as a bag of coffee ages. A fixed-speed motor keeps the controls simple: set the grind, weigh your dose and grind into the included cup.

What makes Gen 2.7 different

This listing is the Gen 2.7 configuration. The current design includes a revised internal chute, ion-generator probes around the grounds path and an updated convex anti-popcorn blocker. The supplied black dosing cup and silicone support wedge replace the silver cup and dosing collar shown in some older reviews. These are practical production changes; they do not turn the DF64 into a grinder that weighs or automatically meters your dose.

Choose a burr option for the coffee you brew

The selector offers Turin stainless-steel and Red Titanium burr options. Stainless steel is a useful starting point for a household making both espresso and brewed coffee. A coating is one part of a burr specification, not a guarantee of a particular flavor. Start with the coffee and drinks you enjoy, then consider a compatible aftermarket geometry if you want to change the balance of texture and separation. Optional SSP burrs ship separately from the installed set and require installation and alignment; they are not a factory-installed upgrade.

An espresso routine you can repeat

Keep dose and beverage yield consistent while adjusting the collar. If espresso runs too quickly at the same recipe, move a little finer; if it struggles to flow, move coarser. Record the setting for each coffee as a starting point, rather than expecting a dial number to work on every grinder. For filter brewing, move into the coarser range and judge drawdown and taste together. Allow for a small amount of coffee remaining in the grounds path after a large setting change.

Static control and cleaning

The plasma system helps reduce grounds clinging to the chute and cup. Its effectiveness changes with humidity, beans and cleanliness. Bellows help move remaining grounds out of the chamber, but low retention does not mean every dose will have identical input and output weight. Keep the chute and ion-generator probes clear using the published cleaning instructions. Unplug the grinder before opening it, and keep water out of the burr chamber and motor.

Will it fit your coffee bar?

Allow approximately 10 inches of counter depth and enough clearance above the bellows to add beans comfortably. The metal construction gives the grinder a substantial feel at about 15 pounds. This is a hands-on single-dose workflow: buyers who prefer to leave beans in a hopper and press a programmed dose button should also consider the GF64.

Compare your options

CF64V adds adjustable RPM and an auger-fed burr layout. DF83 Gen 2 moves to a larger 83mm burr platform. For a smaller single-dose grinder, see the DF54. International buyers should choose the separate 220V DF64 listing.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the variable-speed DF64V?

No. The DF64 Gen 2.7 has a fixed-speed motor. Choose the DF64V Gen 3 if you want to adjust RPM.

Does it measure the dose for me?

No. Weigh beans before grinding and check the grounds with a scale, especially when dialing in or changing coffees.

Can I use a smaller portafilter?

Grind into the dosing cup and transfer the grounds with a funnel that fits your basket. A nominal basket diameter alone does not guarantee that a portafilter fits the support forks.

Which options are preorders?

Read the complete color and burr label in the selector. Preorder estimates apply to the selected option, are subject to change and are not guaranteed delivery dates. Preorders are charged when ordered.
