Updates on V3 Preorder version
The current release is V3. This update introduces a built-in, non-removable chute knocker and a narrower pre-breaker auger. The outer burr carrier has also been redesigned—now supported by four metal rods—to improve stability and deliver more consistent grinding performance.
SSP burrs do not come pre-installed and will ship within the same box as the grinder or at times separately. Customer to install and align SSP Burrs.

After 3 years of daily 1st Gen DF83 use… A user abuse left me in need of a replacement espresso grinder.
The DF83v was ultimately what I committed to purchasing.
Every step of my daily coffee is improved.
Ordered DF83v2. Arrived with wrong part, contacted Turin and they sent the correct one quickly. Lost a screw, contacted Turin and they sent a new one quickly. Thank you!
As for the DF83v2, so far so good.
After six years with my Baratza Sette 30, I upgraded, and it’s like going from a Honda Civic to a Porsche. The Sette was reliable but noisy and not the most comfortable, and the Turin is fast, well crafted, and sleek. This grinder is worth the price!

After using for a month, I would say that this grinder has produced great espresso, pour over and Turkish grinds that are very consistent. The taste was elevated and consistent with every cup. Works best with fresh roasted beans.
The variable speed is dependent on your beans and type of coffeee you want to produce. It is fast and furious, well built like a tank. I love it so far and I am enjoying it every day.
Needs to have the option for a portafilter holder and the finder should be checked for grinder wheel calibration. Mine needed shims in two place’s.
