Turin TrekGrind Portable Espresso Grinder

The Turin TrekGrind is a rechargeable coffee grinder designed to travel with a portable espresso setup. At approximately 475g, it is easier to pack than a countertop grinder and does not require a power outlet for each dose. A magnetic lid and collapsible dosing cup help keep the working setup compact.

Grind at the point of brewing

Carry whole beans and grind the amount you need shortly before making coffee. For espresso, keep the dose steady while adjusting the grind to control how quickly the drink flows. Use the grinder’s setting as a reference for your own equipment and coffee; a number that works for one bag or brewer is not a universal recipe.

Battery capacity and trip planning

The 800mAh battery has a published estimate of approximately five espresso doses per charge. Actual capacity varies with dose, grind fineness, bean hardness and battery condition. Charge before leaving, and plan a charging source or alternative if several people will make coffee across a long trip. The grinder stops automatically when the beans have finished grinding.

A small cup with a practical role

The collapsible collection cup catches the grounds for transfer to your brewer. A dosing funnel can help when filling a small basket. Check the collected dose with a scale while learning your routine, especially after changing the grind setting. Automatic stop is a convenience; it does not measure the output weight or guarantee that no coffee remains inside.

Pairing with portable espresso

TrekGrind is sold separately from TrekBrew. Together they form a battery-powered travel setup, but this page does not include the espresso machine, its stand or a carrying case. If you prefer not to manage a second battery, the H40 V2 hand grinder is another way to prepare fresh coffee away from an outlet.

Cleaning and charging

Use the supplied USB-C cable with a suitable adapter following the manufacturer’s instructions. The wall adapter is not included. Remove loose coffee residue as directed, keep the charging connection dry and do not rinse the motor assembly. Pack the grinder after cleaning and drying the removable parts specified in the manual.

Frequently asked questions

Does it include the portable espresso machine?

No. This is the grinder-only listing. TrekBrew is sold separately.

Will one charge last all weekend?

That depends on the number of doses and how finely you grind. Use the approximate five-dose estimate for planning, not as a guaranteed minimum.

Does automatic stop replace a scale?

No. It detects the end of grinding. Weigh beans and check grounds when dialing in a recipe.

Is this intended to replace a high-volume countertop grinder?

Its main advantages are portability and battery operation. For frequent drinks at home, compare a countertop single-dose model with a larger working setup.
