Does the estimate mean arrival at my door?

Can faster shipping shorten the preorder wait?
A shipping speed or transit estimate does not shorten the wait for preorder inventory. If you need equipment by a firm date, ask about an in-stock alternative before ordering.
Does a tracking number mean my order has shipped?
Label creation alone does not confirm carrier pickup. Check for carrier acceptance or movement. Items may ship separately, so tracking for one item does not mean every item in your order has shipped.
How do I cancel, change my address or switch options?
Submit a support ticket promptly with your order number and the change you need. Wait for confirmation before assuming the change is complete. Cancellation and refund terms, including applicable fees and delayed-order exceptions, apply. Once an item has shipped, the return process applies.

Which burr set should you select?
The selector offers stainless-steel or Red Titanium-coated Turin burrs. Select the burr option explicitly rather than relying on a photo, since older images and reviews may show other coatings or accessories. The 64mm format supports espresso and coarser brewing, with the installed burr geometry affecting the character of the result. Optional SSP purchases are separate from the factory-installed set and require installation and alignment.
What the Gen 2.7 package changes
The current version includes the revised chute and ion-generator arrangement and the convex anti-popcorn blocker. The black dosing cup and silicone support wedge replace some accessories shown in early Gen 2 reviews. The core workflow remains simple: weigh beans, set the stepless collar, grind and check the output. The 45-second stop is a time limit, not automatic weighing.
Prepare your coffee station while you wait
Allow roughly 10 inches of depth, 5.2 inches of width and 12 inches of height, plus clearance above the bellows. Have a scale ready to weigh beans and grounds. Start with one coffee and a repeatable brew recipe; record grind settings as your own reference points. Keep the exit chute and ion-generator probes clean, and unplug before accessing the burrs.

Very happy with this grinder. My espresso is better now. It's very heavy but, seem well built. Not complicated to operate at all. Which is a problem with other grinders over complicated something simple like grinding coffee. Not too loud either.

Excellent Grinder with Little Retention and Easy Workflow
I purchased my DF83V in July of 2025 (from Coffee Addicts). First of all, I LUVLUVLUV this grinder! I was coming from an Eureka Mignon Silenzio (55mm flat burr). That was very well made, and was reliable but it needed serious shimming, a Single Dosing Kit (from Etsy), and my Profitec portafilter never fit it properly. Even though the coffee it makes is better, the biggest improvement that I enjoy every morning I think is the change in workflow.
I tested the DF83V to find it didn't need any shimming, but I did have to wait more than 3 months to get past the break-in period. The grinder consistency is not the best during this break-in period. The 83mm burrs devour the beans quickly and the results are excellent. There is almost no retention to speak about.
I bought the silver model and found it was hard to read the white lines on the dial under the kitchen lights. I then purchased a black dial from Turin and replaced it - that's much better.
As with any variable speed grinder, you can jam the grinder with light roast (ie. "hard") beans if you run the rpm too low (< 400). My biggest issue has been that under 900 rpm I can't hear it running when not grinding and I have several times left it running all day. I now only use 1100 rpm - because I can hear that . LOL
The biggest operational issue to manage carefully is the rate at which you pour in the beans - if you are not consistent then you will not get consistent grinder results (it can vary a lot). Some people like to slow-feed. IMO this huge-burred grinder doesn't need slow-feed and I weigh my beans in a cup and then pour them in. I get great consistency.
The grinder is easy to disassemble without tools and clean - although I've not found it necessary.
I highly recommend this grinder. Just excellent.

I'm in love with my new Turin DF64 Gen 2.7 Grinder
So far, I've had a great experience with this grinder. It's a huge improvement over my previous Oster BVSTBMH23 grinder: it's quieter, much faster, and has almost no retention after pressing the hopper bellows a few times. It's quite heavy, so you'll want to find a permanent spot for it. You'll want to make coffee more frequently anyway. :)
I love this grinder! It is fast, is easy to adjust the grind, and the bellows clear out the burns. It also looks great on my counter. I did watch a lot of videos because this is my first real grinder, but it is pretty intuitive. Highly recommend.
